New Wonders of the world
The first quarter of 2010 has been very busy, with several international events as well as stepping up production in the UK.
In January KS Boo and I visited China to help train new distributors in Beijing, Shanghai, Xian and Guanzhou. There are now more than 30 new distributor sales reps who are fully trained and promoting Genesys products across China.
During our visit we were privileged to see Qin Shi Huang's Terracotta Army in Xian and to climb the Great Wall of China outside Beijing.
In February Matt Armstrong, Stephane Jarrige and I attended the Aquatech India Exhibition in New Delhi, supporting one of our local partners. This gave us an opportunity to launch our new exhibition stand and to strengthen already very successful relationships with local OEMs.
This visit also gave us some unforgettable experiences, visiting the Red Fort in New Delhi and the Taj Mahal in Agra.
Genesys owners, Ursula Annunziata and Ted Darton, attended the South West Membrane Operators Association SWMOA 3rd Annual Symposium held in Carefree, Phoenix, Arizona on February 22-25, 2010. They were there to support Genesys North America, whose President Jantje Johnson delivered a well-received paper on effective cleaning of reverse osmosis systems.
To round off the Genesys tour of the Wonders of the World, following the conference the President of Piedmont Pacific, Jim Medanich, invited Ursula and Ted to accompany him to the Grand Canyon!
