Matt’s sponsored walk
Next March, Matt Armstrong will be walking 100km in 24 hours to raise money for charity. Here are a few words from him:
I hope you don’t mind but while we’ve got your undivided attention, I wanted to take the opportunity to call on your generosity.
I have rather rashly volunteered for a sponsored event to raise money for the charity Help for Heroes in March 2017.
I will be walking 100km (62 miles) in 24 hours through the Trough of Bowland, which is pretty hilly. If you can find a few pounds to spare to spur me on as I struggle through the hills of Lancashire in the inevitable pouring rain or snow with blistered feet, you can find out more at https://www.justgiving.com/fundraising/MATTHEW-ARMSTRONG8.
