GenMine AS26 is a bespoke liquid antiscalant & antifoulant for use in Reverse Osmosis and Nano-Filtration systems, fed by mine water with high levels of calcium sulphate in acidic conditions, and in the presence of soluble metals. GenMine AS26 is also effective against a range of mineral scales and inhibits deposition of iron, aluminium, manganese, zinc, copper and a range of soluble metals on the membrane surface. Genmine AS26 inhibits scale formation, allowing Reverse Osmosis and Nano-Filtration membrane plants to be operated using acidic feedwater, preventing the need for expensive pre-treatment and neutralisation. GenMine AS26 is additionally effective in controlling scale in piping, droppers, and other process equipment with flow, where, there is a risk of gypsum scaling in acidic conditions.
