Genesys distributor conference 2017

The theme was strategic account selling. Just one big account can make a difference to a company’s turnover, profit and reputation. We figured that if all of our 60 plus distributors could win one key account in the next year then this would make a big difference to our performance as well. Our technical approach to selling means we are well positioned to spend time helping customers optimise their plant performance and helping them save money. This, in turn, puts our distributors in a strong position to sell our products.
The conference covered numerous successful case studies, including our work at large refinery plants, seawater reverse osmosis megaplants, complex wastewater applications and industrial plants with unusual and difficult-to-treat water. These illustrated aspects of our services such as site surveying, troubleshooting, membrane autopsies, water analysis and software projections – all of which can be key to gaining significant business.
We also explored theories of scale formation, antiscalant mechanisms and our unique membrane cleaning technology.
We rounded off with a gala dinner, including speeches, passing the port and then the awards ceremony for outstanding distributor performance, followed by a great party.
