New UK factory

Despite the challenging conditions caused by unprecedented UK snowfall this winter, precision planning by John Eckersley & Ted Darton ensured our move into the new factory in Middlewich went very well, with the new production facility being fully operational by early January.

We had only moved into the previous factory in Winsford just two years earlier, but the fact that demand was outgrowing capacity meant a change was vital. Our production volume has doubled over the last three years and we're predicting a continued level of growth as our distributors have also doubled in number, from 17 in 2006 to 32 today.

The new manufacturing facility has increased production and warehousing capacity with larger blending vessels and a new powder blender dedicated to producing our biggest selling cleaner - Genesol 703 - which removes clay and microbial fouling. The premises also include extensive office space and a large yard for loading the increasing number of Full container loads delivered - with twelve this year already.

We'll shortly be making a substantial investment to kit out a new laboratory on-site. This will enable us to expand our product development and testing, including carrying out more complex cleaning and antiscalant performance tests.
