European Desalination Society update


Over the past few years EDS has been fortunate enough to benefit from the leadership of its dedicated President, Ian Lomax. Ian is now retiring from DOW Water and Process Solutions and so will be stepping down as President of EDS. No doubt he will continue to share his vast expertise of desalination so we still expect to cross paths in the future. However we would like to wish him much well-deserved pleasure in his retirement.

The new President from 4 June will be our very own Ursula Annunziata who has worked tirelessly for EDS for many years. We wish her the very best of luck.

EDS has recently opened booking for exhibitors and issued a call for papers for its conference on Desalination for the Environment, Clean Water & Energy. The event will be held in Limassol, Cyprus, from 11-15 May 2014. For more details visit www.edsoc.com.
