New faces at Genesys
A year of growth for Genesys has meant we have had to adapt and build our team to ensure that we can respond to the needs of our customers.
Dawn Woodward joined in June of this year. A degree-level, qualified accountant with more than 20 years' experience, her role is to analyse and improve the Genesys accounting and management information systems. Presenting at the distributor conference, Dawn focussed on addressing multi-currency problems and implementing a strategy to help our distributors understand some of the issues we face when dealing with so many different countries. With the end of the financial year approaching we are sure Dawn will remain extremely busy.
Genesys made a vital addition to the team when they appointed Matt Armstrong as International Sales Manager in August. Matt joined with more than 10 years' experience in water treatment from Nalco and Veolia. He will now be responsible for sales growth in the UK, Eastern Europe, Nordic Region, Holland and Belgium.
He was fortunate to meet many of our distributors at the recent conference and plans to visit many of them in the coming months to ensure we are doing all we can to support them.
Matt went through a month long training programme which included a visit to the membrane autopsy laboratory in Spain and attending the excellent UNESCO-IHE Membrane desalination course ran by Jan Schippers and Maria Kennedy
