Chambers of Commerce national winners


We did it again! After winning the Queen’s Award for Enterprise and visiting Buckingham Palace in July, we attended the finals of the UK Chamber Awards, on 24 November. We were representing the North West region as winners of the Achievement in International Business category, competing against eight other regional finalists selected from over 400 companies.

After a very impressive meal the announcements finally came from journalist and presenter Anita Rani (who some of you might know from Watchdog and the One Show). After the awards for 3rd and 2nd place I didn’t think we had much chance, so I was absolutely overjoyed when Anita announced that we’d won. The entire Genesys team leapt up and went very excitedly up to the stage to get the award. As you can probably tell from the picture, it was a very proud moment for us all!
